After sanding, a specially  stained floor can look amazing, so if you’re thinking about a particular colour for your floor there are over 18 standard colours to choose from.

Wood Stains

Products

After years of first hand experience testing stains from many sources, we now use what we consider to be the best in the business.

We use Mylands of London who’ve been manufacturing paints and polishes since 1884. They are the oldest, genuine paint manufacturer in the UK still owned and managed by the same family. They supply to interior designers and scenic artists in the film, television and theatre industries and us!

We think they are the trade's best kept secret. They use original manufacturing techniques to produce their ranges and use the highest quality resins and pigments. In keeping with our green ethic, all of their water-based wood stains are totally environmentally friendly. Quite simply they're the best and that's why we use them. For more information about Mylands go to www.mylands.co.uk On the right you will find examples of the most popular choices. Please bear in mind that these colours are just a guide as computer monitors vary considerably. The final colour of the stain will also depend on the wood itself. So if a stain is required it’s best to have an idea of the kind of colour you want to achieve (light, medium, dark etc) and then our operator will advise and do a test area (or several) on the actual floor at the beginning of the job. That way you can see exactly how the colour will look before making a commitment.

For the best results after sanding, choose Mylands.
